Enroll in ADSelfService Plus
Before you begin the process of accessing your RWU accounts, you need to enroll in the ADSelfService Plus password management tool. The steps below will guide you in securing and updating your account passwords.

1. Navigate to the password management tool at passwords.rwu.edu.
2. In the Login In box, please enter your username and select the domain. Then press Login.
Username-

Students: usernames are comprised of the first initial of their first name + Last name+ the3 numbers assigned to them.

Employees are issued usernames when hired and are emailed to them.
Domain-

Students & Faculty: Accounts are managed under the Academics domain. Select ACADEMICS from the Domain drop down menu.

Staff: Accounts are managed under the RWU domain. Select RWU from the Domain drop down menu.
3. Enter your password. Press Login.

4. Go to the Enrollment Tab.

5. Setup Verification Methods to protect your account. This will enable you to assist yourself when locked out or needing to reset your password.
Security Questions
a) To set up Security Questions & Answers, Click Set up
b) Choose your questions and insert answers.

c) Make sure to confirm your answers.

d) Once completed, click Update.

Add Email Verification
a) To add email verification, click add email.

b) Enter a personal email address then click send code.

c) Enter the verification code to confirm email.

Push Notifications Authentication
- To setup push notifications for AD SelfService Plus, you will need a personal mobile device.
- Download the "Manage Engine AD SelfService Plus" from the Apple App or Google Play store
- Open the app and select "Server Settings"
- For server name, enter "passwords.rwu.edu". For port, enter "443". For protocol, select "HTTPS"
- Select "Save"
- Sign in using your Active Directory Account
- Click on the Profile icon in the upper-left corner, and then click on Enrollment.
Select the Mobile App Authenticator tab to enroll in Push Notifications.

6. Select the Change Password Tab.
Select Accounts that you would like to reset. We recommend resetting all accounts, so passwords synchronize.

Enter the required criteria fields. The new password will need:
- Eight Characters
- Capital Letter
- Number
- Special Character

Select Change Password
7. When the password change completes, it will mark in green the accounts that were updated.
*Only accounts that you are assigned with these credentials are updated.
