CAS 227 Classroom Guide

Technology Set-up: PC in room, Laptop connection, Sony Projector, Qsys Camera/Ceiling Mic

Turn on the System

Use the touch panel to select an input--laptop, Air Media, or room computer.

Connecting Laptop

For personal devices, plug in your device using the USB-C cable in the room.

Select Faculty/User Laptop as the source on the touch panel.

Adjust the audio with the volume control on the right.

For AirMedia, connect the AirMedia adapter to your USB-C port on your laptop. Select AirMedia as the source and send to left/right display.

It is also possible to open Chrome or Firefox and enter the AirMedia IP address (10.103...) in the lower left corner of the display to connect to it as a website. You would then follow the directions found there to download AirMedia on your device and enter the 4 digit code that pops up on the display.

Using Zoom

When using Zoom on the Room PC, please follow the instructions below.

Access Zoom either by clicking the desktop icon or via Bridges. Login using your RWU Microsoft Credentials.

We recommend doing a mic and speaker test via the Zoom Settings.

The camera controls are on touch panel.

The USB-C cable that connects your device to the TV monitors also connects the camera and microphone.
